The Details

First of all, Thanks to Nikolaus Johnson of Nikolaus Custom Artwork for the great poster design this year!

This years event will be Saturday, September 17th from 9am to 6pm at the Triangle North Executive Airport (KLHZ). If you are driving in, the address is 440 Airport Road, Louisburg, NC 27549

Young Eagles Flights for youths ages 8-17 will be held from 10am - 3pm and are FREE. This is a great way to introduce the young person in your life to aviation.

Tethered Hot Air Balloon rides will be availible, and be sure to hand around till the end of the day for the balloon glow and race at 6pm.

Admission is free to the event, but there is a $5 per vehicle parking charge.

The star of the show this year, is the “Spirit of North Carolina” a Douglas A-26 Invader. The A-26 Invader was the only bomber type to serve in three wars, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam.
